FOREST is organized into several interconnected activities, called work packages (WPs) that together drive the project’s objectives and outcomes.
- WP1 ensures effective project management and coordination, keeping all activities aligned and on track.
- WP2 focuses on early research and development, laying the groundwork for innovation.
- WPs 3, 4 and 5 advance this work through detailed engineering and technology prototyping.
- WP6 integrates data analytics, while WP7 conducts field trials of the full system. Feedback from each testing phase feeds into the design framework, leading to final validation within WP7.
- Finally, WPs 8 and 9 focus on communication, dissemination, and exploitation to maximize the project’s impact and reach.
